Governance Services is an independent section within the Division of Administrative Services. The Director, Governance Services reports directly to the University Registrar as Head of the Division of Administrative Services.
Governance Services:
- supports QUT's governing Council and committees;
- coordinates the flow of information through the committee system;
- provides an information service to staff concerning decisions of committees, and
- conducts the reconstitution of committees, including University-level elections.
Governance Services is responsible for:
- the University's central records including committee records, the central correspondance registry and University archives;
- the Manual of Policies and Procedures (MOPP);
- the administration of Freedom of Information legislation;
- the University's Privacy regime and Compliance program; and
- the conduct of University-level elections.
Governance Services is located in U Block on Gardens Point Campus, although staff travel to other campuses for work commitments. The staff contact list can be found by following this link: Staff Contact List.
